I got a package from my Mom with all my mail from Idaho yesterday. Here are the cards that came (and some that I've gotten in Miami too):

Wrigley Field, where the Chicago Cubs play.

I have no Idea what this is. It's delightful though. It's from the Chalet Staff and apparently there's a story about it...Jen?

These Phoenix cards are from the same Postcrossing guy--he couldn't decide which to send, so he sent both.

From Austria...I guess they're the characters from some old childrens' show there.

From Jen's friend. Lovely city scene.

From Jen. I think it's probably a picture of her as a child, but she won't fess up.

Also from Jen. The loveliest building in Heinola.

From Heather and Allison. I love it.

Last, but not least. This GEM is from Jena. Seriously Jena, where do you find these things? This one is Ugly AND religious...amazing.

The Chalet staff card pictures a holiday resort for the people who got blind in the war, and it's located somewhere in Germany. Obviously it doesn't need to be pretty to be nice for the blind...
And I swear it's not me on the super weird card, but I have no idea what it is either! Special.
I'm glad I do not disappoint. I cleaned out our basement and found a box of postcards my sister had bought over the years. As in she bought them not for the ugly factor, but because she liked them. Which makes them even better. Don't worry, there are more. Although not all are disturbingly ugly, they all have their unique charm.
